H. Fernando Bossa
H. Fernando Bossa was born in Bogota, Colombia he came to the US to persue his education, entertainment and acting career. Bossa’s love for the cultural arts and dance started at an early age. His acting career began in the late 1970′s when he appeared as an extra in the movie “Second Sight” by Lorimar Production. He travel to Hollywood and worked as an extra in various movies playing small roles. He has acted in many community plays and televison interviews. He also modeled for many local fashion stores and has done print and runway work for many fashion designers.
In the early 1990′s Bossa worked for WBCN Radio in sales and promotions. He also worked for WEEI AM news1999. Bossa founded the Groom/Humphreys Neighborhood Organization, a grass roots effort in Boston, made up of area residents of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds who wanted to improve their neighborhood. The initiative was started by Bossa working with the help of residents and state representatives, City Councilors, The Boston Police Department, and the Mayor. The neighborhood quickly improved. Bossa also, co-founded the Latino Film Consortium in which they brought film producers, actors and movies to the Strand theatre.
Fernando Bossa is affiliated with many Non-profit Organizations, Corporate businesses and he is one of the 100 most influence Latino men in New England. He works with multicultural communities. Every year he works on festivals, beauty pageants, Galas, Boston Salsa Congress, Fundraiser Events just to mention a few. He is an active member of the Latino and multi-cultural Wide communities. Today Fernando Bossa is well known to the world wide public as FERNANDITO. Currently Fernandito is a television host and producer. He produces the one hour bilingual multi-cultural entertainment television show “El Show De Fernandito/Fernando’s Hideaway”.
